  • Activity:
    • Gather everyone in a circle.
    • Have each child introduce themselves and share one fun fact (e.g., “My favorite winter activity is…”).
    • Parents can also join in to share their favorite winter memory.
  • Warm-Up Tip: Play a quick “Name Freeze” game where the group pretends to freeze whenever someone’s name is called.

2. Skating Free Play (20 minutes)

Objective: Let participants explore and enjoy the thrill of skating together.

Activity:

  • Provide safety gear (helmets, knee pads) and guide everyone to the skating area.
  • Allow kids and parents to skate freely, encouraging them to try out fun moves.

  • Staff members will be available to assist beginners and ensure safety

3. Snowball Dodge Game (20 minutes)

  • Objective: Foster excitement and friendly competition.
  • Activity:
    • Split everyone into two teams.
    • Set boundaries for a play area.
    • Teams use soft snowballs to “tag” opponents while dodging incoming snowballs.
    • Parents can act as “protectors” for the kids, making the game even more engaging.
    • Game ends when one team has more players left “in play.”

4. Snow Slide Challenge (20 minutes)

  • Snow Slide Challenge
    • Set up a slide course with sleds.
    • Have kids and parents slide in pairs or take turns navigating the track.

  • Objective: End with a sense of accomplishment and fun memories.
